As many are well aware, the number of Black males in the occupational therapy profession is astronomically low.  Currently, Black males in the profession are less than 1%.  This is not only nonrepresentative of society, but a detriment to varied treatment protocols, healthcare opinions, and hinders our viewpoints and perspectives as the OT profession continues to develop.  Black male voices are needed to make the profession better.

Mission Statement

BROTHAS is an organization that seeks to cultivate , coordinate, strengthen, and uplift males of the African diaspora within the profession of Occupational Therapy from academics to practitioner.
