The BROTHAS (Black-male Registered Occupational Therapy Healthcare-professionals Assistants & Students) meet and greet event, hosted at the AOTA (American Occupational Therapy Association) Inspire Conference on Saturday, March 23, 2024, at 9 am in Orlando, Florida, at The Rosen Centre, was an enriching and empowering gathering designed specifically for black male occupational therapists, assistants, and students.

Upon arrival, attendees were enveloped in an atmosphere of camaraderie and unity. The event offered a welcoming and inclusive environment for black male professionals and students in the occupational therapy field to connect, exchange experiences, and provide mutual support on their professional journeys.
